Dr. Cheloha is President and founder of the Cheloha Consulting Group, a leadership development and succession planning practice. He works with Boards of Directors, CEOs, and senior executives as a catalyst for senior leader and senior team performance. Over the past 25+ years Randy has worked with many CEO’s, Board Directors, and senior executives in addressing complex issues that impede organizational growth and success. He has assessed +2500 senior executives, consulted on +18 CEO successions, and coached over 100 senior executives.
Before starting his own practice, Randy was a Partner at Mercer/Oliver Wyman Delta (OWD), an organization change and leadership development firm, in their Leadership Capabilities practice. Prior to joining OWD, he was a Principal at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, a sibling Marsh & McLennan (MMC) company and was responsible for the Leadership Development practice based in Philadelphia. Earlier in his career, Randy was a senior consultant at RHR International, a firm of management psychologists.
He has published numerous articles on executive assessment, leadership development, CEO succession, and job satisfaction and been quoted in the national and international media. He has presented on leadership development and succession planning to national audiences at psychology, human resource, and industry conferences.
Randy holds an MS in industrial/organizational psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota. His clinical psychology APA-approved internship was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. His undergraduate training in psychology was at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE.
